A National Holiday

This morning I went on a jog in the rift valley with David and it was a great day. I’m definitely not as in shape as I would like to be, but it was incredible country side.  Today was a national holiday, the 57^th anniversary of when Kenya was given it’s independence from Britain. No one went to work and there was a big celebration in the city stadium, complete with Jet fighters flying over.

  We ended up going into the office to do a little work and it felt like a very productive day. Then later, Javince and I made Ugali, Skuma wiki + Beef, a traditional luo meal that is very VERY good.
